2-Day Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath & Oxford Tour Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Stonehenge, Windsor Castle & Bath

We begin with an early departure from central London. As the city fades behind us, the countryside unfolds, leading us to our first destination — Windsor. Windsor welcomes you into the heart of Britain's royal story. At its center stands Windsor Castle, the world's oldest and largest occupied castle. You have the option to explore the castle's grand interiors or spend time discovering the town's historic charm. Whether you're admiring the grand State Apartments or wandering the cobbled streets, you'll experience a blend of history and tradition at every turn.

Next, we travel to the ancient site of Stonehenge. This mysterious monument captures the imagination, and the visitor center sheds light on theories behind its purpose. Was it a temple? A calendar? Something more? After your visit, you'll have free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, we continue to the elegant city of Bath — your overnight stay and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

As evening arrives, Bath is yours to explore. You're free to choose how to spend your time — perhaps a peaceful dinner or a gentle walk through the city's beautifully lit streets. It's the perfect way to take in Bath's timeless atmosphere.

  2. Day 2

    The Cotswolds & Oxford

Start your day with a relaxed morning in Bath. Stroll at your own pace through streets lined with elegant Georgian architecture, including the iconic Royal Crescent and other landmarks made famous by period films. For a deeper dive into the past, you can choose to visit the Roman Baths — a place where ancient history still echoes through the steam.

Once you've explored Bath to your heart's content, the adventure continues into the Cotswolds, a region known for its postcard-perfect villages and charming cottages. Your first stop is Castle Combe, often named one of the prettiest spots in the region. Enjoy time for photos and a short walk before we travel through scenic countryside on our way to Oxford.

In Oxford, spires rise above a city steeped in academic tradition. After free time for lunch (not included), you're free to explore the historic college grounds, climb to viewpoints for sweeping views, or browse the Ashmolean Museum's rich collection of art and artifacts. As you wander through the elegant buildings, it may feel like you've stepped into a scene from Harry Potter. After two full days of discovering England's iconic sights and legendary stories — from royals to Romans — we make our way back to London, where the lively pulse of the capital greets you once again.

What's Included

Accommodation
  • 1 night en-suite accommodation with breakfast
  • What should I expect from a B&B?
B&Bs are traditionally small family owned and run properties offering a handful of guest rooms. They are usually residential properties, so they tend to be located on the outskirts of towns and you should be prepared for a 20–30 minute walk to local facilities like pubs and restaurants.
It's unusual for a B&B to offer any additional services like concierge, porterage, evening meals or room-service. Wi-fi is usually, but not always available and it's worth bearing in mind that access can be unreliable in more remote locations.
If you have difficulty with stairs, please request a ground-floor room (subject to availability, upon request only) as lifts will not be available in this type of property.
