Highlights

This 4-day small group tour takes you deep into the wild heart of southwest Ireland, exploring two of the country's most celebrated scenic routes — the rugged Dingle Peninsula and the legendary Ring of Kerry — with Killarney as your comfortable base throughout.

Travel in a small group of no more than 16 with an expert local guide, allowing for a flexible, personal experience across some of Ireland's most dramatic and culturally rich landscapes.

  • Drive the spectacular Slea Head Drive on the Dingle Peninsula — one of Ireland's most breathtaking coastal routes — with sweeping Atlantic views, rugged cliffs, ancient stone forts, and dramatic headlands recognised as a filming location for Star Wars: The Last Jedi
  • Visit ancient Tóchar Maothaithe beehive huts and the haunting Famine Cottages — places of deep Irish history set against some of the most incredible scenery in the country
  • Explore the charming town of Dingle, with time to enjoy local cuisine, visit the distillery, or sample Murphy's Ice Cream in flavours like Irish Brown Bread or Dingle Gin
  • Travel the iconic Ring of Kerry with stops for sweeping coastal and mountain views, and enjoy free time in the picturesque fishing village of Portmagee — the gateway to the Skellig Islands
  • Drive the wild and lesser-known Skellig Ring with its dramatic Atlantic scenery, then explore Derrynane House and return through the lakes, forests, and mountains of Killarney National Park

Wild Coast of Dingle Peninsula & Slea Head

Head south from Killarney to the Dingle Peninsula, famous for dramatic scenery and recognised as a filming location for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Drive the full length of Slea Head Drive, taking in sweeping Atlantic views, rugged cliffs, and ancient stone forts. Stop at Tóchar Maothaithe to see Ireland's famous beehive huts, or visit the haunting Famine Cottages set against the wild coastline. Continue to Slea Head itself for a short walk or a stop at the beach.
