Day 1
Welcome to Milan
Arrive in Milan and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace.
-
Day 2
Discover Milan – Art, History & The Last Supper
This morning a professional guide leads a skip-the-line walking tour through Milan's art and history. You'll head to Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper, then move through the medieval Castello Sforzesco. From there you'll stroll along Via Dante and through Piazza Mercanti, take in the breathtaking Duomo, and walk the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The tour also includes entry to the Teatro alla Scala museum before wrapping up at Santa Maria delle Grazie, where da Vinci's masterpiece awaits.
-
Day 3
Lake Como and Bellagio
The coach takes you from Milan to Lake Como, starting the day in Tremezzina. From there you board a 1-hour boat cruise across the lake, passing Villa Balbianello, Villa Carlotta, and a luxury hotel set in tropical gardens. The boat docks in Bellagio — wander the steep alleys, grab a coffee or gelato, and take some free time to explore. The cruise continues to Cadenabbia and then on to Como, where you can browse the historic centre and local boutiques before heading back to Milan.
-
Day 4
Cinque Terre With Cruise
The coach departs Milan for Cinque Terre, dropping you first in Manarola. Take some free time here to walk around and try the local food. Then a short train ride brings you to Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the five villages, known for its medieval fortifications and relaxed seafront atmosphere — no cars, just restaurants, bars and winding streets. The day wraps up with a 90-minute boat cruise along the coastline, taking in views of all five villages from the sea before the coach returns you to Milan.
-
Day 5
Swiss Alps and St. Moritz with Bernina Red Train
The coach leaves Milan and heads to St. Moritz, where you have time to walk around the lake, sip Swiss hot chocolate at the country's best chocolate house, or browse the luxury boutiques. Then you board the Bernina Red Train — a UNESCO World Heritage railway running a 100-year-old route — out of St. Moritz, up through the Engadin Valley to Bernina Pass at 2,253 m, and down into Italy. Along the way you pass wild gorges, glaciers, soaring bridges and loop tunnels, crossing the famous helical stone viaduct at Brusio before the train terminates in Tirano. The coach then brings you back to Milan.
-
Day 6
Day at Leisure or Optional Verona and Sirmione Tour
Today is free — spend it exploring Milan on your own, or join the optional Verona and Sirmione excursion (not included).
If you take the optional trip, the coach heads to Verona for a guided tour of the city's historic centre, including its famous sites and architecture. A lunch break gives you free time to shop or relax in one of the local cafés. The afternoon continues to Sirmione, a fortified village sitting at the tip of a 4 km peninsula on Lake Garda, with views across both the eastern and western shores. The coach returns to Milan in the evening.
