  • Experience London after dark on a one-hour open-top panoramic night bus tour (summer season April–October only), with a live English-speaking guide bringing the capital's iconic landmarks to life under the city lights
  • Explore Oxford on a walking tour, visit the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, and drive through the rolling countryside and villages of the Cotswolds
  • Walk in Shakespeare's footsteps at his Birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon and explore the medieval towers and ramparts of Warwick Castle, including an exclusive hidden gems tour
  • Discover the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath — admire the 15th-century Bath Abbey, the romantic Pulteney Bridge, and the world-famous Roman Baths, where Britain's only natural hot spring still flows today
  • Stand before the ancient mystery of Stonehenge and uncover the theories behind this awe-inspiring prehistoric monument on the Wiltshire plains
  • See London's greatest icons in a single day — St. Paul's Cathedral, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, a Thames river cruise, and the Tower of London with a Yeoman Warder (Beefeater) guided tour and the dazzling Crown Jewels

5-Day London City Break Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Welcome to London

You'll arrive at your hotel independently and settle in. If you're visiting during the warmer months (April–October), head to the meeting point at 7 PM for a one-hour open-top bus tour through London after dark. The guide will point out iconic landmarks and historic neighborhoods as you drive through the city.

  2. Day 2

Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cotswolds and Warwick Castle

You'll depart from the meeting point in London and head first to Oxford for a walking tour. The guide covers the history of the University of Oxford and takes you to the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, which has free entry — the tower is optional. From there, the coach takes a scenic drive through the Cotswolds, passing countryside, villages, and market towns.

Next, you'll visit Stratford-upon-Avon, where you'll see Shakespeare's Birthplace and explore the town along the River Avon. The day ends at Warwick Castle, where you'll take an exclusive hidden gems tour of the medieval fortress before returning to London in the evening.

  3. Day 3

    Stonehenge and Bath

You'll start the day in Bath — England's first UNESCO World Heritage City. The guide will take you past the 15th-century Bath Abbey, the sweeping Georgian architecture, and Pulteney Bridge, which was modeled on Florence's Ponte Vecchio. You'll then visit the Roman Baths, a beautifully preserved bathing complex still fed by Britain's only natural hot spring. In the Pump Room, you can sample Bath's famous healing waters.

After Bath, the tour continues to Stonehenge. The guide will walk you through the key theories about the site's purpose — from a temple for sun worship to a burial ground or ancient calendar — and explain how our ancestors transported and erected these enormous stones using only primitive tools.

  4. Day 4

London City Tour with St. Paul's, Tower & London Eye

The day opens with a panoramic bus tour past London's most famous monuments. You'll then visit St. Paul's Cathedral — Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece — and admire the beautiful mosaics inside. Note that on Sundays, church services mean there is no guiding inside the cathedral.

From there, head to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guard, with its iconic bearskin hats and red tunics. If the ceremony isn't running that day, the guide will take you to Horseguards Parade instead.

Next, you'll ride the London Eye and take in sweeping panoramic views of the city from your glass capsule, followed by a boat ride along the River Thames past London's most recognizable sights.

The day concludes at the Tower of London. A Yeoman Warder — one of the 32 men and women drawn from the Armed Forces who have guarded the Tower since Tudor times — will lead you on an exclusive tour of the fortress. You'll also visit the Crown Jewels and see the legendary Cullinan diamonds and the Koh-i-Noor.
