7-Day Charming Greece Tour Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Athens

    Shortly after arriving in the historical city of Athens, you'll be met by a driver and enjoy the sights and sounds of this magical city as you're transported to your hotel. After arriving at your hotel, you'll have the rest of the day to enjoy at your leisure. This might be the perfect opportunity to visit attractions close to your accommodation. We recommend sampling some local cuisine while you explore.

  2. Day 2

    Athens Sightseeing: Olympian Zeus Temple / Panathenaic Stadium / Academy

    After you've enjoyed a restful sleep, you'll be greeted with a delicious breakfast. When done, you'll be met by the driver, who will usher you to the starting point of a guided Athens sightseeing tour. This exciting tour will guide you through some of Athens's most prominent tourist attractions. Soak in the sheer magnificence at historical sites such as the Olympian Zeus Temple and the Panathenaic Stadium. Other incredible locations you'll visit on tour include the House of Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and Arch of Hadrian. You'll also see the Academy, the University of Athens, and the National Library of Greece. Following an exciting day exploring the rich history of Greece's capital city, you're free to spend the remainder of the day as you please.

  3. Day 3

    Corinth Canal / Theatre of Epidaurus / Nafplion / Mycenae / Olympia

    An early post-breakfast shuttle will transport you to the awe-inspiring Corinth Canal, the day's first stop. The renowned Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, known for its incredible acoustics, will be your second stop for the day. Next, you'll immerse yourself in the beauty of the town of Nafplion during a brief stop. Then it's off to the Archaeological Site of Mycenae, where you'll also visit the Tomb of Agamemnon.

    After exploring the Corinth, Epidaurus, and Mycenae regions, you'll be whisked away to your next destination. On the way, you'll pass by two monumental towns, Tripolis and Megalopolis. The legendary birthplace of the Olympic Games, Olympia, is your final stop of the day. Here you'll enjoy a delicious dinner and a night of rest in superb accommodation.

  4. Day 4

    Archaeological Site of Olympia / Heliad / Achaia / Delphi

    An early morning breakfast will be followed by a tour of the famed Archaeological Site of Olympia. The Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum are some highlights you can look forward to. This bucket list adventure will be followed by a leisurely drive with breathtaking vistas featuring the plains of Heliad and Achaia.

    Your drive will take you across the magnificent bridge which connects Rion to Antirion. On the way you'll also take in views of the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea as you near the destination town of Delphi. Here you'll spend the night and reminisce about the day's most memorable moments over a dinner.

  5. Day 5

    Delphi Archaeological Site & Museum / Kalambaka

    Greek mythology tells us that Zeus dubbed Delphi the center of the world. And this, the Archaeological Site of Delphi, is the first stop on day 5 of your tour. Thereafter, you'll be guided to the Delphi Archaeological Museum, one of Greece's landmark museums. Here you'll bask in the wonder of a famous statue known as "The Bronze Charioteer". With another incredible day of sightseeing complete, you'll be transported to the small town of Kalambaka. This charming and romantic town is nestled at the foot of the scenic giant cliffs of Meteora. These cliffs are one of Greece's most beloved natural phenomena and an absolute must-see. A good night's rest at this exquisite location is on the plan before the next day of your tour begins.

  6. Day 6

    Meteora / Trikala / Thermopylae / Athens

    Meteora, for its immense beauty, is known for its churches and monasteries with some of the most beautifully peaceful and spiritual locations. These ancient buildings stand tall, seemingly sprouting from the rocks, offering unmatched panoramic views. Later, you'll take a scenic drive back to Athens, passing through Trikala and Lamia. You'll also enjoy a short stop in Thermopylae to view the statue of Leonidas. And you'll get to see the small coastal town of Kamena Vourla before arriving in Athens that evening. After 6 glorious days of exploring the history and culture of this beautiful country, it's time to relax before heading back home.

  7. Day 7

    Departure Day and Transfer Service to Athens Airport

    Upon waking and enjoying a filling breakfast, you'll get ready to meet your shuttle driver as scheduled. The driver will transport you from the hotel to the airport per your flight departure time.
