7-Day Best of England Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Welcome to London

Arrive at your hotel independently and take some time to settle in or explore the city at your own pace.

  2. Day 2

    Total London Experience

Make your own way to the meeting point and begin your London adventure.

Relax on a panoramic bus tour as you pass the city's most iconic landmarks, blending rich history with modern sights. Visit St Paul's Cathedral and marvel at the beautiful mosaics inside. Please note that on Sundays, due to church services, there is no guiding inside the cathedral.

Witness the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, or visit Horse Guards Parade when the ceremony is not available.

Enjoy breathtaking views from the London Eye, then cruise along the River Thames past famous riverside landmarks.

Explore the historic Tower of London and the Crown Jewels. During its 1,000-year history, this impressive fortress has been a Royal Palace, prison, mint, and even a zoo. Be dazzled by the Cullinan diamonds and the spectacular Koh-i-Noor at the Crown Jewels.

The tour ends at approximately 17:00 at the Tower of London. On Wednesdays, the tour will finish at the London Eye instead.

  3. Day 3

Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cotswolds and Warwick Castle

Discover the timeless charm of England on this full-day tour from London.

Explore historic Oxford, home to the world-renowned University of Oxford. On a guided walking tour, admire the stunning University Church of St Mary the Virgin and learn about the city's rich academic heritage. You're free to step inside the church, with optional tower access available for a small fee payable on the day at the Church.

Travel through picturesque countryside dotted with quaint villages and market towns en route to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Visit his charming half-timbered childhood home and enjoy time to explore the town or stroll along the River Avon.

Step into history at Warwick Castle, where medieval life comes alive. Experience the Great Hall, explore elegant State Rooms, and enjoy an exclusive guided tour of hidden areas not usually open to the public.

Return to London in the evening.

  4. Day 4

    Stonehenge

Depart from central London and head straight to Stonehenge for an extended visit. Wander around the World Heritage Site and be captivated by the unique rock formation.

Situated on Salisbury Plain, the 40-ton rocks have stood alone since their arrival 5,000 years ago. An abundance of theories surround Stonehenge, from the belief it is a religious temple to an astronomical clock and even a Bronze Age burial ground. Decide for yourself whilst discovering the history behind this mysterious monument.

Learn about the history of Stonehenge by exploring the Visitor Centre. Then, see the Battle of Britain Memorial as you cruise the River Thames to Embankment.

Please note that the visit is unescorted. Enjoy a scenic journey to your destination with entry to Stonehenge, allowing you to explore the ancient monument at your own pace.

  5. Day 5

Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Dover & Greenwich River Boat Ride

Start with exclusive access to Leeds Castle before the crowds. Explore the historic rooms and grounds, and enjoy a traditional mead tasting.

Head to Canterbury to visit Canterbury Cathedral, a key site of English Christianity and the location of Thomas Becket's murder. Admire its medieval architecture and stunning stained glass.

Stop in Dover for views of the iconic White Cliffs of Dover — perfect for a quick photo stop.

Explore Greenwich, including the Old Royal Naval College and the historic ship Cutty Sark.

Enjoy a scenic cruise on the River Thames from Greenwich to Embankment Pier, passing iconic landmarks such as Tower Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral. Please note this cruise is seasonal (April–October only). The tour ends at Embankment Pier, with arrival expected at around 18:30.
