Day 1
Welcome to Athens and Transfer Service to Your Hotel
Finally, you've arrived in Athens! Your exploration of the ancient Greek world will begin with a friendly welcome at the airport from our representative who will transport you to your hotel. You might need a little time to settle in and relax from your flight, so take advantage of the remainder of the day to do so.

Day 2
Athens Tour: Olympian Zeus Temple / Panathenaic Stadium / Acropolis Museum
You will enjoy a hearty breakfast before being picked up from the hotel for a guided tour of Athens. Your sightseeing adventure will include Athens' House of Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Arch of Hadrian, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Kallimarmaro (Panathenaic Stadium), the Academy of Athens, Athens University and the National Library, and the Athenian Acropolis. Your tour of the Acropolis will allow you to explore the Parthenon Temple ruins, the Temple of Athena Polias (Erechtheion), the Athena Nike Temple, and the Acropolis Museum. Move at a leisurely pace and enjoy each of the sites while taking breaks throughout the day.

Day 3
Corinth Canal / Theatre of Epidaurus / Nafplion / Mycenae / Olympia
Your special tour will begin after breakfast. On the day's agenda are stops at the Canal of Corinth, and then on to the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, world renowned for its incredible acoustics. You will enjoy a short visit to the small town of Nafplion and a final stop in Mycenae, an ancient city with an Archaeological Site and the Agamemnon's Tomb. You will depart for Olympia where you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4
Archaeological Site of Olympia / Ancient Stadium / Delphi
The archaeological site where you can explore the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Olympic Stadium, and Olympia's Archaeological Museum will begin your day. From there, we will travel through the plains of Eliad and Achaia on our way to the Rion-Antirion cable-stayed bridge, which crosses the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. During our drive, we will pass through picturesque towns like Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea before arriving in Delphi for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 5
Delphi / Castalia Spring / Temple of Apollo / Kalambaka
Your day will begin at the Castalia Spring and the main archaeological site for Apollo's Temple, the Athenian Treasury. Also a part of your day will be spent at the ancient theatre of Delphi, the Delphi Stadium and the Delphi Archaeological Museum, which houses the bronze statue of the Charioteer and the well-known statue of Antinoos. We will depart from Delphi for Kalambaka to finish the day with dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6
Meteora – The UNESCO World Heritage Site – Historical and Religious Treasures
Enjoy a delicious breakfast in your hotel before we set off for Meteora. More than 20 rock monasteries, precariously built on the towering sandstone cliffs of Meteora or built inside naturally formed caves, are prominent features of the UNESCO World Heritage site. Eleventh-century hermits lived in these monasteries, which later provided sanctuary for monks hoping to escape the bloodshed that occurred during the fall of the Roman Empire. The historical and religious treasures clinging to a foothold between earth and sky are a fitting conclusion to your journey. In the early evening, we will head back to Athens.

Day 7
Morning Transfer to the Port & Ferry to Santorini
We will transport you to the port of Piraeus in the morning. We will board the ferry to Santorini Island. The trip takes nearly five hours, so once you arrive, we'll take you to your hotel where you can give your sea legs a needed break and spend the rest of your day getting to know the stunning beauty of the island.

Santorini – Day at Leisure
This will be a day of leisure, allowing you to take in the breathtaking vistas of Santorini, marvel at the white-washed houses and soak in the atmosphere and ethereal glow of the world's most romantic sunsets.

Day 9
Morning at Leisure – Ferry Back to Athens
After breakfast, you will want to linger, saying your farewells to the island while walking the paths of Fira and purchasing keepsakes, souvenirs and postcards to memorialize your stay. At midday we will make our way to the port for the ferry ride back to Piraeus port. From the port, we'll take you back to the hotel in Athens.

Departure Day and Transfer Service to Athens Airport
After your final overnight stay in Athens, our representative will make sure that you make it back to the airport in time for your departure flight, wishing you well and inviting you to come visit us again.
